How do I prepare for my first appointment?

If you are a new patient transferring your care to St. Clair Medical Group OB/GYN, we ask that you provide the office with your previous health records prior to your appointment date. To transfer your records, please complete the Medical Record Transfer Form and send it to your current primary care provider. Additionally, we ask that you please print and complete all of the "New Patient Forms" located on the Forms Page. Once the forms are complete, either fax, mail, or bring the completed forms to your appointment. If you are unable to do this prior to your appointment, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete the forms and allow our staff to enter them into your electronic health record.

What should I do if I need to cancel and / or reschedule my appointment?

If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, we request that you provide the practice with 48 hour notice, so that we may offer that appointment time to another patient. You cancel / reschedule your appointment by calling the office you schedule with (Practice phone numbers can be found on our homepage).

What is the office's late / cancellation policy?

Out of consideration to our other patients, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, there may be a delay in your visit, or you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. If you cannot make your appointment, we request 2 hours notice to offer that appointment time to another patient. St. Clair Medical Group OB/GYN thanks you in advance for your consideration.

What should I do if I need care after hours?

St. Clair Medical Group OB/GYN is open Monday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and Friday 8:0 am - 2:00 pm. For non-emergency care when our office is closed, we recommend St. Clair Urgent Care, which is located at the St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center - Village Square, 2000 Oxford Drive, Bethel Park, PA 15102 and is open 7 days a week 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. In the event of an emergency, please dial 9-1-1.

How do I get a prescription medication refilled?

Please contact your pharmacy with all prescription medication refill requests.

What if I need a referral to another provider or service?

If you require a referral to see a specialist or to have testing, our office will help you obtain the necessary insurance authorization. When possible, please notify our office at least 5 days in advance to allow time to process the paperwork. We ask that you please do not schedule your appointment before our office contacts you with the authorization. If the authorization is not obtained before the appointment, it may mean that you will be financially responsible.

Where can I receive lab and imaging services?

In most cases blood specimens can be drawn right in the office. If you require diagnostic testing, please visit St. Clair 's Dunlap Family, Village Square and Peters Township Outpatient centers.
