Yes, St. Clair Medical Group Pulmonary Medicine is accepting new patients. Call our practice at (412) 572-6168 and the office staff will be able to schedule you with the earliest available appointment. Once you schedule your appointment, the staff will assist in providing the appropriate paperwork for your first visit.

If you are a new patient to St. Clair Medical Group Pulmonary Medicine, we ask that you provide the office with your previous health records prior to your appointment date. To transfer your records, please complete the Medical Record Transfer Form and send it to your current primary care provider. Additionally, we ask that you please print and complete all of the "New Patient Forms" on the Forms Page. Once the forms are complete, either fax, mail, or bring the completed forms to your appointment. If you do not complete the forms prior to your appointment, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete the forms and allow our staff to enter them into your electronic health record. You may also be asked to have a chest x-ray completed prior to your visit. If the x-ray is completed at a location other than a St. Clair facility, you will be asked to bring in a copy of the disc with the x-ray on it.

St. Clair Medical Group Pulmonary Medicine is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For non-emergency care when our office is closed, we recommend St. Clair Urgent Care, which is located at the St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center - Village Square, 2000 Oxford Drive, Bethel Park, PA 15102 and is open 7 days a week, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Out of consideration to our other patients, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, there may be a delay in your visit, or you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. Please contact your pharmacy with all prescription medication refill requests.
If you require a referral to see a specialist or to have advanced diagnostic testing, our office will help you obtain the necessary insurance authorization. When possible, please notify our office at least 5 days in advance to allow time to process the paperwork. We ask that you please do not schedule your appointment before our office contacts you with the authorization. If the authorization is not obtained before the appointment, it may mean that you could be financially responsible.

Dr. Basheda trusts the St. Clair Hospitalists while his patients are hospitalized at St. Clair Hospital. Hospitalists are physicians whose primary professional focus is the general medical care of hospitalized patients. St. Clair Hospitalists will work with Dr. Basheda to ensure the coordination of your care.
