How do I prepare for my first appointment?
If you are a new patient tranferring your care to St. Clair Orthopedic Associates, we ask that you provide the office with your previous health records prior to your appointment date. To transfer your records, please complete the Medical Record Transfer Form and send it to your current provider. Additionally, we ask that you please print and complete all of the "New Patient Forms" located on the Forms Page. Once the forms are complete, either fax, mail, or bring the completed forms to your appointment. If you are unable to do this prior to your appointment, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete the forms and allow our staff to enter them into your electronic health record.
What should I do if I need to cancel and / or reschedule my appointment?
If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, we request that you provide the practice with 24 hour notice, so we may offer that appointment time to another patient. You can cancel / reschedule your appointment by calling our office at 412-942-7262.
What is the office's late / cancellation policy
Out of consideration to our other patients, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, there may be a delay in your visit, or you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. What should I do if I need care after hours?
St. Clair Orthopedic Associates is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For non-emergency care when our office is closed, we recommend St. Clair Urgent Care, which is located at the St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center - Village Square, 2000 Oxford Drive, Bethel Park, PA 15102 and is open 7 days a week 9am-9pm. In the event of an emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
How do I get a prescription medication refilled?
Please call our office at 412-942-7262 to discuss your medication refill request. Narcotic medication refill requests require a face-to-face evaluation by one of our providers.
What if I need a referral to another provider or service?
If you require a referral to another provider or for additional services, our office will provide you with appropriate recommendations for your follow-up treatment.
Where can I receive lab and imaging services?
All of our practice locations offer on site x-ray services. If you require advanced diagnostic testing, please visit St. Clair 's Village Square and Peters Township Outpatient centers. What if I need to be hospitalized?
St. Clair Orthopedic Associates physicians may consult with you while you are admitted to the hospital or may be your admitting physician, depending on the nature of your condition and reason for your admission.
